3.1 Adoption Process

3.2 Adoption Agreement

3.3 Adoption Fees

  • All adoption fees are non-refundable once the adoption is finalized

  • Additional veterinary or care costs after adoption are the adopter’s responsibility

3.4 Return Policy

If you cannot continue caring for an adopted pet:

  • The pet must be returned to Rehoming Tails
  • Pets cannot be rehomed, sold, or transferred to others without our consent
  • We reserve the right to reclaim any adopted pet if terms are violated

4. Foster Services

4.1 Foster Agreement

Foster families must:

  • Provide safe, loving temporary care
  • Follow our foster care guidelines
  • Allow home visits and check-ins
  • Return the pet when a permanent home is found
  • Not adopt the foster pet without going through proper adoption procedures

4.2 Foster Responsibilities

  • Medical costs for foster pets are covered by Rehoming Tails
  • Foster families are responsible for basic care, food, and shelter
  • Emergency medical decisions must be approved by Rehoming Tails
  • Foster families cannot make independent medical decisions without consultation

5. Donations and Support

5.1 Donation Policy

  • All donations are voluntary and non-refundable
  • Donations are used for animal care, medical expenses, and operational costs
  • We reserve the right to use donations where most needed
  • Donation receipts will be provided upon request

5.2 Fundraising

Any fundraising activities conducted on behalf of Rehoming Tails must be pre-approved by our team.

6. Volunteer Services

6.1 Volunteer Agreement

Volunteers must:

6.2 Volunteer Liability

Adopters and foster families agree to indemnify Rehoming Tails against claims arising from their care of animals after placement.

10. Termination

10.1 Termination Rights

We reserve the right to:

  • Terminate adoption or foster agreements for violation of terms
  • Remove animals from unsuitable situations
  • Deny services to individuals who violate our policies
  • Suspend or terminate website access

10.2 Effect of Termination

Upon termination:

13.3 Lost and Found Services

Our lost and found assistance is provided voluntarily. We are not responsible for:

  • Unsuccessful reunifications
  • Damages or injuries during rescue attempts
  • Costs associated with temporary care of found animals

14. Modifications

14.1 Terms Updates

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on our website with the updated date. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of modified terms.

These Terms, along with our Adoption Agreement and Foster Agreement, constitute the entire agreement between you and Rehoming Tails regarding our services.
